Pout your lips in taunts
and flaunts
Let's cream to joy
Plant a peck, a tease
a kiss
Let's cringe to joy
Make a rise:
raise me sweet tight
Ehen
Try for size:
seize me squeeze high
Ahan
Let's ride a-tight
Broken? What the heck!
Tempted? Why the fear!
Taken? Hahaha!
Joy be the business
in town
Ply not the clown
Joy be the music
ahead
Why play the dead
Joy. Boundless joy
in ploys and decoys
Mind not
Crack plots
And ride da tracks
Joy, alas, be...
hatch and catch!
Holidays: A season of tugging emotions, and the pouring of thoughts. What have you got in store and how will you fill the pot? Mean it, pin it.
Just the right season a-tight!
Just as the Internet happened upon us and changed our world, I foresee poetry in a new and renewed resurgence: the shorthand for social communication, back-stopping our drift away from heavy reading. Verses for the Masses promotes the Culture of "Popular Poetry", will help make our day, our way, our world, a better blend. Here be First Leg of my Literature Tripod & New Media Offerings.
