'05 spoke in tongues
but we sought not
decoders
And it sparked
'05 stole in droves
but we sent not
detectors
And it stank
'05 was a stretch
in dotted hopes
dripping and dropping aloud
Oh, did we spot
What blind a trip-in-bangs
'06, '06
Mean much to us!
As you come, all-sneak or relish:
Drop hints your wish
We will pick
Draw hits your ways
We will beat
As you come, all-tricks and kisses
Mind not last miss
and remiss
Bind
We'll redress
Cut not this mix
or the fix
Put
We will heave
As we drag and drop
pray '06...
Make us ya friend!
Hello Folks, do look back. Look over the barges, over the seas. Look again: what do you call and recall when '05 was fading away, racing away?
Hmm...
Just as the Internet happened upon us and changed our world, I foresee poetry in a new and renewed resurgence: the shorthand for social communication, back-stopping our drift away from heavy reading. Verses for the Masses promotes the Culture of "Popular Poetry", will help make our day, our way, our world, a better blend. Here be First Leg of my Literature Tripod & New Media Offerings.
