Calls and calling
divide the fold
Yet they be one
Balls and calling
unite the fold
Yet they be torn
Falling and calls
belie the bond
Pray, we be on
Ballroom and balls
define their folly and all
before the foolery and fall
Though they be tall
Use your balls
for the call
Stand ye tall
in the hall
Pray, tie your balls
lest you fall
This is a versification of the general concern and call for higher standards in public service, both in the US and around the globe. Things are getting murkier by the day, nay, minute! All over, our leaders are taking real liberty of us...and their oaths! We beg them to stay off the gravy train. And to clean things up, today! The US politicians should be leading...not muddling!
Just as the Internet happened upon us and changed our world, I foresee poetry in a new and renewed resurgence: the shorthand for social communication, back-stopping our drift away from heavy reading. Verses for the Masses promotes the Culture of "Popular Poetry", will help make our day, our way, our world, a better blend. Here be First Leg of my Literature Tripod & New Media Offerings.
